Version 2026-06-18
We handle sensitive personal and medical information in line with India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the control you keep over it.
1. What we collect
We collect identity details confirmed through eKYC, medical evidence, treatment wishes, people you name, and contact and payment details. We never ask for, see, or store your Aadhaar number.
2. How we use it
We use your data only to prepare your directive, verify identity, process payment, and guide signing, attestation, and custody. We do not use it for advertising and never sell it.
3. Consent and legal basis
We process data on the basis of your consent under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act. You may withdraw consent, though this may stop us from preparing or maintaining your directive.
4. Storage and security
Your data is encrypted and stored within India with strict access controls and a tamper-evident audit trail. Draft directives appear only inside a secure viewer.
5. Who we share it with
We share information only as needed to deliver the service and with your direction. Setu and Razorpay process specific eKYC, eSign, and payment steps under duties to protect your data.
6. Retention
We retain your directive and required supporting records while your account is active and as needed for legal and custodial obligations.
7. Your rights
You may access and correct personal data, withdraw consent, and request deletion where we are not legally required to retain it. Contact support@inheritancewants.com.
8. Changes and contact
We may update this policy as the service and law evolve. Privacy questions may be sent to support@inheritancewants.com.
